Sunroom Sala presents Favela Funk as an immersive exhibit.

Favela Funk was an exploration of connections through Afro-Carribean communities. Through authentic expression, the work honors the unique similarities of Afro-Latin communities for its vast beauty of culture, art, music, and dance! We presented a selection of works from four artists, featuring their distinctive works of art.

The exhibition featured an unprecedented live performance by Batalá New York, an all-women Afro-Brazilian Samba & Reggae Percussion Band.
